Philip Whistler Appointed to Civil Legal Services Commission by Chief Justice Rush
Ice Miller partner Philip Whistler
was recently appointed by Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta Rush to a three-year term on the Indiana Commission to Expand Access to Civil Legal Services (ICEACLS).
Created by an Indiana Supreme Court Order in 2013, the ICEACLS’s mission is to assess, enhance and expand the access of civil legal services to low-income Hoosiers. The 17-member commission consists of judges, law professors, practicing attorneys, existing civil legal services providers, nonprofit groups and representatives from business, finance and labor, who serve three-year terms.
Ice Miller has a proud and rich tradition of encouraging generous contributions of time and talent to assist individuals and organizations in need of legal assistance. We applaud Mr. Whistler’s service to this commission, which impacts many Hoosiers.
Mr. Whistler is a member of Ice Miller's Litigation and Intellectual Property
practice group. He represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of industries in complex litigation and arbitration involving competition, corporate governance, trade regulation and securities, and finance.
