TechPoint held the 15th annual Mira Awards gala honoring Indiana’s outstanding companies, educators and entrepreneurs for technology innovation on Saturday, May 3.
“The Mira Awards continues to be the premiere event for the tech sector in Indiana with a record 170 applications for awards this year, a 40 percent increase over last year’s prior record,” said TechPoint CEO Mike Langellier.

Interactive Intelligence was named the Tech Company of the Year. This is the second year that Interactive Intelligence has won this award. TechPoint reported that Interactive Intelligence has over 6,000 customers worldwide, added 183 jobs in 2013, and grew its stock by 100 percent and revenue by 34 percent.
PERQ won the Marketing Tech Award. PERQ is a marketing technology and promotions company. TechPoint reported that PERQ’s newest technology, FATWIN, has provided clients with a proven 25 percent increase in sales and “astounded” the Mira judges.
PolicyStat, which produces policy and procedure management software, won the Health Tech Award. TechPoint reported, “The Mira judges believe PolicyStat truly emerged as the force in policy and procedure management software for health information technology with nearly 500 customer deployments in 2013.”
An honorable mention went to BlueBridge Digital for the Tech StartUp of the Year category. TechPoint reported, “BlueBridge Digital is a pioneer in the field of mobile apps as a service.” These apps allow customers to connect with clients on a daily basis.
