Water for Empowerment: Building Healthy Futures Through Clean Water Initiatives

Girls in developing nations are responsible for obtaining water.  Many times they walk for hours to and from the local water “well,” while being exposed to dangerous situations on a daily basis.  They have no time for schooling or education because they spend so much time obtaining clean water, a resource many in America take for granted.  These are among the reasons why our client, Water for Empowerment, is empowering girls and women to build healthy futures through clean water initiatives.

Join us for Water for Empowerment’s launch party in Indianapolis on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at Bent Rail Brewery. The event is from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. and will provide dinner, a beer or cocktail, a bottle of water, and the opportunity to shop for Nicaraguan-themed goods.  You can also learn about a remarkable new invention, and one of our favorites, the “solar bag.”  This is a bag that uses light to purify water!  For more information, or to read more about the latest in clean water initiatives, visit Water for Empowerment’s new website here.
