Ice Miller’s Illinois Offices to Spend Day of Service with Feed My Starving Children
Ice Miller’s offices in DuPage and Chicago are teaming up to spend their Days of Service on Oct. 6 and 7 volunteering with Feed My Starving Children in Aurora, Ill. Our volunteers will pack meals specifically for malnourished children across the globe, which are to be sent to orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs in nearly 70 countries.
Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit with seven locations in the United States, which focuses on donating food globally to break the cycle of poverty. Feed My Starving Children created “MannaPack” rice, which is safe and easy to transport, culturally acceptable worldwide and simple to make with access to boiling water. The food was created with the input of scientists and the needs of malnourished children in mind. Feed My Starving Children welcomes volunteers locally and also partners to send volunteers on trips to serve communities and deliver food.
