Fundraiser Aims to Provide Resources to Nepal Communities Impacted by Earthquake
David Carter, former owner of Ice Miller client ProBuild Indianapolis (formerly Carter-Lee Lumber), and a group of his adventure-seeking friends are hosting the Rise Up for Nepal fundraiser on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the Indiana Historical Society.
The group, who was in Nepal when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook the country on April 25, 2015, also set up The Nepal Relief Fund to provide resources to the many affected communities. So far, it has raised more than $35,000, which will be used to build and support seismic-safe schools, water systems, medical clinics and infrastructure projects.
At Ice Miller, we are proud to see one of our clients build, grow and protect here and abroad.
