Commercial Litigation Attorney
Our Indianapolis office is seeking a highly motivated attorney with four to five years of experience in commercial litigation who will perform a broad range of legal functions in a dynamic litigation practice. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication, as well as analytical skills. Alternative Investments Attorney - Columbus Office
We are seeking an attorney with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience to join our Alternative Investments practice. While we would prefer that the attorney be located in our Columbus office, we can accommodate an arrangement with the attorney joining any of our offices. This position involves representing institutional investors in their investments in the alternative asset class, across the full range of investment strategies and structures. Client investments are primarily fund-based but also include separate account/IMA, fund of one and direct and indirect co-investment structures. For certain clients we also advise on general investment management transactions outside of the alternative asset area.
 
Candidates that have experience representing institutional investors are preferred, but attorneys with experience on the GP/investment manager side are also encouraged to apply. Additional experience in matters related to securities, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and other general corporate transactions is expected.
 
All candidates must be team-oriented and able to take ownership of client relationships and transactions. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as analytical and organizational skills, are a must.

Private Equity Finance Attorney – New York Office
Our New York office is seeking a highly motivated attorney with 4 to 7 years of experience in lending transactions, including lender-side representation and/or sponsor representation in private equity acquisition financing transactions and junior capital/mezzanine financings.  Candidate will also have strong working knowledge of financing structures, credit agreements, security agreements and bank commitment papers.  Additional experience in matters related to mergers and acquisitions, finance, private equity, structured equity financings, growth capital transactions and other general corporate transactions is also needed.

Litigation Paralegal - Columbus Office

Our Columbus office is seeking candidates with law firm paralegal experience in commercial litigation for a position in our Litigation Practice Group.

Essential Duties:

•Attends meetings with client to determine factual issues and possible documentation sources.
•Candidate should also have experience in various ESI review platforms including Relativity and E-Direct 365.
•Maintains and monitors case calendar
•Assists Attorneys in document review and organization
•Identifies electronic sources for collection of electronic discovery from clients;coordinates collection of electronic files; analyzes the nature and volume of data to be collected; and determines the platform that will be utilized for review of the data in the discovery process
•Tracks document productions in assigned cases
•Analyzes and reviews documents for responsiveness, legal privileges, and personal privacy issues.
•Prepares production of documents to regulatory agencies and civil litigants.
•Assists in the presentation of electronic exhibits, assists in tracking of trial exhibits, coordinates witness appearances and serves as a key contact with court personnel in the logistics of the trial process.
•Prepares notices and subpoenas as assigned; summarizes/indexes transcripts as assigned; prepares witness files; selects and assembles potential deposition exhibits; attends and takes notes at depositions when assigned
•Assists in preparing discovery requests and responses when assigned; summarizes responses from other parties.

Minimum Requirements:

•Bachelor`s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from American Bar Association approved program; strong academic record desired.
•Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency in Trial Director.
•Knowledge of current electronic discovery methods and procedures to ensure that data is collected and processed efficiently and in accordance with current court standards.
•Strong organizational and writing skills required.
•Detail-oriented.
•Ability to research, analyze and synthesize large amounts of data.
•Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects and work effectively under pressure.
•Ability to work independently.
