Billing Clerk
Location: Indianapolis

Job Description:
The Billing Clerk will be responsible for handling basic billing needs. The employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive materials, and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.

Essential Job Duties:
•Process billing retainers and application bills
•Process edits, write-offs, cancellations, splits of time on billing memos
•Ability to run reports, analyze data and prepare spreadsheets.
•Reprint invoices and reports as needed
•Ability to become familiar with computer systems manuals and procedures, maintains and updates procedural manuals as needed
•Monitor BILLING mailbox
•Assist Accounting Department in miscellaneous projects as needed

Minimum Requirements:

•High School diploma required
•Higher education, bachelor or associate degree in Accounting field preferred
•0-2 years bookkeeping experience
•Previous experience in the legal industry a plus
•Proficient in Microsoft Office products
•Able to adapt to fast pace work environment
•Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time
•Must have strong attention to detail
•Must be organized
