Ice Miller LLP, one of the Midwest's top tier law firms, is looking for an experienced legal secretary to support our Labor and Employment practice area in our Columbus, Ohio location. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in reviewing and processing complex legal documents, successfully handling multiple priorities, and managing the desks of multiple attorneys. Experience in managing calendars, billing time and providing outstanding customer service is required. Outstanding proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products, strong proofreading skills, and keen attention to detail, are essential. Prior litigation experience is also required.

The primary skill set required in this position is a thorough mastery in the formatting and revision of complex legal documents which requires mandatory outstanding skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. In addition to these required technical skills, the ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. A proven history of succeeding under pressure is required. Office Manager - Columbus and Cleveland

Job Description:
Ice Miller LLP, one of the Midwest's top tier law firms, is currently recruiting for an Office Manager for the Firm's 150 person Columbus and 20person Cleveland, Ohio offices. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for the daily execution of Firm policies and procedures.

Key accountabilities include serving as the operations liaison between the local managing partner and office at large: daily supervision of the legal and administrative assistants, receptionists, manage and monitor workflow and work product quality; and successful execution of general office and management functions. In conjunction with the Indianapolis based Human Resources department, provide onsite HR support including hiring, training, performance management, and resolving personnel issues.

Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 5-7 years management experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment, proven success in facilities and operation management and human resources administration. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are mandatory. A strong working knowledge of Ohio employment laws is strongly recommended. Bachelor's Degree required.

Records Retention Supervisor/Coordinator

Ice Miller's Records Information & Risk Management Department is currently seeking a Records Supervisor or Coordinator. The specific duties and responsibilities will be determined and based on the successful candidate's level of experience. However, essential responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing the work activities of the Records & Information Staff
• Assisting in developing RIM system specifications for practice areas by utilizing best practices, assessing business needs, and clearly documenting requirements using manual and automated filing, indexing, imaging, docketing and records retrieval systems.
• Assist in electronic information management, retention, compliance and information governance initiatives and training
• Assist and lead special projects and initiatives relating to Records Information and Risk Management.
The successful candidate must possess exceptional decision making, leadership skills, have the ability to learn new tasks quickly, analyze task and make or recommend sound decisions, using relevant records/information management systems to coordinate the timely completion of assigned projects. Excellent oral and written communications skills, attention to detail, professional level customer service and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Knowledge of technology applications relevant to records and information management systems required. Requires experience in project management. Diversity is important to the Firm's culture, and you must be able to show respect and be sensitive to cultural differences. Computer proficiency with Word, Excel and Database Programs required.
