Career Development Partner
Michael Boldt, a partner in the Labor and Employment Group, is the Firm's career development partner, a position created for and dedicated to the advancement of the Firm's associates and counsel. The Firm's dedication to the mentoring and training of its attorneys drove the decision to create this position, which is unique among law firms across the country. Mike's responsibilities include mentoring attorneys through one-on-one meetings, informal professional training programs, and events. All conversations with Mr. Boldt are strictly confidential. However, if requested by the attorney, Mr. Boldt will coordinate with the involved partners and practice group chairs on the attorney's behalf.
"To be successful our attorneys need to develop in three distinct ways. First, it is essential they become sound technical lawyers. Second, they have to become known and trusted colleagues within the Firm. Finally, they should be active members of our community," stated Boldt. "I see my role as being a resource to our lawyers, to inspire and motivate them, so they can chart their own course to becoming successful attorneys."
