Ice Miller's agribusiness team has been busy cultivating relationships during the month of August, as Indiana celebrates at the Indiana State Fair.
On August 3, the Firm sponsored the Normandy Barn Rededication. The move of the Normandy Barn to the north side of the fairground allows visitors to learn about modern and contemporary agriculture in a 2,500 sq. ft. display. Ice Miller also annouced that beginning in 2009 they will host an annual agricultural dinner on Farmer Day, which will be a new signature event at the Fair.
On Wednesday, August 13, Ice Miller, along with the AgrIInstitute and CountryMark, will host a debate between lieutenant governor candidates Becky Skillman (R) and Dennis Oxley (D). The event will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and will provide voters an opportunity to understand the views of Skillman and Oxley on agriculture and rural issues and the impact on Indiana's economy. The debate takes place at 3:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building Cafeteria on the North side of the Fairgrounds. The event will be moderated by Gerry Dick of Inside INdiana Business.
