Health Care Reform: Employer Obligations and Opportunities Under the Final Employer Penalty Regulations Seminar
Implementation of the full federal Affordable Care Act (ACA) is just around the corner for some employers. The Indiana Chamber is hosting a seminar in April to help Hoosier businesses prepare for the many new health care reform rules and regulations they will have to follow.
The Health Care Reform: Employer Obligations and Opportunities Under the Final Employer Penalty Regulations
seminar will take place April 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center in downtown Indianapolis.
Presented by Ice Miller LLP, topics will include an overview of the ACA; determination of “large employer” status; an outline of the two potential employer penalties; special considerations for part-time, variable hour and seasonal employees; as well as tools for employers to understand the coordination of plans and the marketplace, with a cost benefit analysis.
A Q&A luncheon will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Cost is $199 for Indiana Chamber members; $229 for non-Indiana Chamber members. Group discounts are available. The seminar is good for a half credit toward the completion of the Human Resource Specialist Certificate
and has been approved for 3.5 hours of HR credit from HRCI.
