2014 Saw Strongest Year for Corporate Venture Capital Since 2000
The last boom in corporate venture capital ended when the dot-com bubble burst in 2000, but corporate venture activity is booming again. Last year was the strongest year for corporate venture investing since 2000, according to the quarterly Money Tree Report from PwC and the National Venture Capital Association, with corporate venture groups accounting for 17.8 percent of all VC deals and 11 percent of all venture dollars invested.
