Boiler Business Exchange of Indianapolis to Host “Tailgate Hack”
On Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, Purdue students will join the alumni group, Boiler Business Exchange of Indianapolis (BBE), at Ice Miller client’s Eleven Fifty Coding Academy, a nonprofit coding academy in Carmel, to cheer on the Purdue football team as it takes on Michigan State. BBE, which represents more than 1,600 alumni, aims to strengthen the Boiler brand in the Indianapolis community.
“As BBE works to raise Purdue University’s profile in Indianapolis, we are proud to offer this beneficial networking opportunity,” said Tom Walsh, partner at Ice Miller and board member of BBE. “We are grateful for our host, Eleven Fifty Academy, which educates programmers and helps them succeed as entrepreneurs.”
The event, called “Tailgate Hack,” includes a viewing party, Hackathon and networking with BBE members. This fun, relaxed event gives students interested in computer science and data science the opportunity to build relationships with alumni while also showcasing their skills, learning new technologies and winning prizes.
The event is open to current Purdue students and Purdue alumni who are interested in business, data, innovation and design. To learn more about the event and to register, go to: http://bbeindy.com/tailgate-hack/
