Ice Miller Associate Amy Berg Selected for AgrIInstitute’s Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program

Ice Miller LLP's Food and Agribusiness Group brings value to clients by staying engaged with industry leaders, companies and organizations. Associate Amy Berg builds upon this reputation through her recent selection for Class 17 of the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program through the AgrIInstitute.

“Amy is an emerging leader in our Firm and an excellent pick for the upcoming Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program class,” said Melissa Proffitt, office managing partner of Ice Miller’s Indianapolis Office and chair of the Food and Agribusiness Group. “It is a highly-regarded program that will give her additional tools to help Ice Miller clients build, grow and protect their business.”

Ice Miller is a proud longtime supporter and partner of the AgrIInstitute. The firm has been the lead sponsor of the Indiana Lt. Governor Debates hosted by the AgrIInstitute at the Indiana State Fair, has supported the ALP Annual Benefit Auction and Golf Outing and encouraged other Ice Miller attorneys to participate in the program.

In addition to Amy’s selection for Class 17 of the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program, Ice Miller partner Anthony (Tony) Aaron is a member of Class 14, and senior counsel Aaron Grant is a member of Class 15.

The AgrIInstitute is a leadership development and people-capacity building organization that facilitates a robust network of agricultural and rural leaders. A cornerstone program of the AgrIInstitute is the Indiana Agricultural Leadership program. This dynamic, two-year program delivers a curriculum of high-caliber leadership learning.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Amy worked as a project manager in the State Cleanup Section of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management Office of Land Quality. Amy managed the investigation and remediation of sites contaminated with hazardous substances or petroleum products including, for example, dry cleaning facilities, petroleum refineries and unregulated underground storage tank sites.

Additionally, Amy was the inorganic laboratory manager at A&L Great Lakes Laboratories in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was tasked with the management of personnel and operations for the Inorganic Laboratory, which analyzed various drinking water, wastewater, soil, and biosolid samples.
