Ice Miller LLP Attorney Nicholas Casto Joins Lawyers’ Assistance Program as an Associate Board Member
Ice Miller LLP is pleased to announce that Nicholas Casto has joined the Lawyers’ Assistance Program as an Associate Board Member. The Lawyers’ Assistance Program has a three-fold mission which includes: 1) To protect clients from impaired lawyers and judges, 2) To help lawyers, judges, and law students with alcohol, drug, or mental health problems, and 3) To educate the legal community about these issues. The group was founded in 1980 and is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
Volunteers work with addiction treatment professionals and engaged clinicians to educate themselves on addiction and recovery, instruct them on peer support and on intervention techniques. Volunteers work quietly and confidentially to help legal professionals find recovery.
Nicholas Casto is an associate in Ice Miller's Litigation and Intellectual Property group. He represents clients in state and federal proceedings across a number of different disciplines. His primary practice area is complex commercial litigation, where he handles cases involving breach of contract and fraud claims. In addition, Nick has experience in employment litigation, class action defense and trademark disputes.
