Here is a brief recap of last night's election results. More detail about each Indiana federal, statewide, and legislative race will be sent in the next couple of days.
CONGRESS (Indiana delegation totals only)
Before the election, Republicans held at 7-2 edge over Democrats. All 9 seats were up for election this year.
The make-up of the Indiana Congressional Delegation remains unchanged:
District 1: Visclosky (D)
District 2: Walorski (R)
District 3: Stutzman (R)
District 4: Rokita (R)
District 5: Brooks (R)
District 6: Messer (R)
District 7: Carson (D)
District 8: Bucshon (R)
District 9: Young (R)
AUDITOR OF STATE
Suzanne Crouch (R)
SECRETARY OF STATE
Connie Lawson (R)
TREASURER OF STATE
Kelly Mitchell (R)
INDIANA STATE SENATE
Before the election Republicans controlled the Indiana State Senate with a "supermajority" of 37-13. 25 of the 50 seats were up for election this year.
The Republicans still control the Indiana State Senate by a continued “supermajority”of 40-10.
INDIANA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Before the election Republicans controlled the Indiana House of Representatives with a “supermajority” of 69-31. All 100 seats were up for election this year.
It is unofficial, but it appears that the Republicans maintain control of the Indiana House of Representatives 71-29
