She holds a juris doctorate from Indiana University-Indianapolis School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude, in 1992 and was an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review.
Olinger first joined Ice Miller in 1992, practicing in both the real estate and business sections of the firm and handling transactions including multi-family housing, retail and office development projects, asset purchase transactions, real estate acquisition and sale transactions, financing and opinion matters, office and retail leasing, coal, oil and gas leasing, easements, zoning matters, listing agreements, and property management agreements. In 2001, Olinger became executive director of Shelby County United Fund, Inc. in Shelbyville, Ind. She served in that capacity for three years, administering the non-profit organization and working with its volunteer board of directors to surpass its annual fundraising goal for each of the four campaigns during her tenure. Olinger rejoined Ice Miller in 2004 and currently concentrates much of her real estate practice in commercial leasing, including representation of landlords and tenants in office, retail and light industrial leasing projects in Indiana and many other states in the Midwest and around the country. Her leasing experience includes identification and drafting of provisions for compliance with Shari'ah law principles as they relate to ownership and leasing of real property.
