Full Biography: Eric Dawes
Eric is qualified to provide basic actuarial services to pension and retiree healthcare plans. As an Enrolled Actuary, he is eligible to perform actuarial funding valuations under ERISA. He is also skilled in providing pension and retiree healthcare accounting information under both FASB and GASB. Additionally, as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, he is eligible to provide actuarial attestations under Medicare Part D.
Many employers face challenges with the retirement and retiree healthcare plans that they offer to their employees. As employers attempt to find the right mix between Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans, and as they attempt to manage their ever increasing retiree healthcare costs, Eric has the specific competencies necessary to help clients develop a strategic plan and program design that best fits the various needs of company stakeholders.
Perhaps Eric's greatest strength, however, is his ability to explain complex actuarial and financial consulting issues in an easily understood and interesting manner. By enabling his clients to understand difficult issues, he gives his clients greater opportunity to more efficiently manage their own business issues and improve their own profitability.
