Professional Experience:
Jeff Dack is a partner with Ice Miller's Real Estate Group, where he concentrates his practice on business and commercial real estate transactions, including financing, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and real estate tax appeals.

Dack has negotiated and documented loans for various types of properties and loan structures, having represented borrowers and lenders in transactions ranging from traditional real property secured loans to seller financing, to mezzanine debt financing. He has also assisted clients with negotiating and documenting the purchase of defaulted loans from lenders.

Dack also has experience in assisting clients with the purchase and sale of various types of properties, including office, multifamily, industrial and vacant land.

He has represented landlords and tenants in negotiating office leases. Dack's practice also involves representing land owners in connection with appeals of real estate taxes.

He graduated, with honors, from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design. He received his juris doctorate from Northwestern University where he was a member of the deans list and a member of the Order of the Coif.

Prior to joining Ice Miller he was an associate at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago. Dack is licensed to practice in the states of Indiana and Illinois.
