Full Biography: Judy S. Okenfuss

Judy's practice centers on representing a diverse group of companies with risk management, crisis management and litigation avoidance issues. As part of this representation, she advises clients on firearm regulations and transfers; indemnification issues; risk shifting through contracts warnings, instructions, releases, and document preparation and retention issues. When litigation occurs, she represents clients in many different areas with an emphasis on the defense of products liability and catastrophic injury cases. She also has represented companies in other types of litigation, including commercial matters, warranty cases, gray market goods cases, and Telephone Consumer Protection Act matters.

Ms. Okenfuss graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri with a B.S. in chemical engineering and B.A. in Spanish. Upon graduation, Ms. Okenfuss was employed by Dow Corning Corporation as a Technical Service and Development Engineer where she developed products for use in the aerospace industry. Following Dow Corning, she was employed as a Materials and Process Engineer at McDonnell Douglas Corporation where she participated in the development of advanced fighter aircraft.

Judy earned her J.D. from Washington University in 1991 where she graduated Order of the Coif. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
