Full Biography: Paul Harrison Sinclair

Paul Sinclair, a partner in the Labor and Employment Section, has a primary practice concentration in labor and employment law. Mr. Sinclair was born and raised in De Pere, Wisconsin. He received his bachelor of arts in political science from Brigham Young University in 1990 where he was a recipient of the Marriott Scholarship. He obtained his juris doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law where he graduated summa cum laude in 1993. While in law school, he was an editor of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal.

During the summer of 1992, Mr. Sinclair clerked for Ice Miller and during the 1992-93 academic year, he served as a law clerk for the Jackson County, Illinois, Circuit Court. Mr. Sinclair joined Ice Miller in 1993 after graduating from law school. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana. Mr. Sinclair is a past council member of the Labor and Employment Section of the Indiana State Bar Association.

Mr. Sinclair has developed a practice that has both depth and breadth. In addition to counseling clients with human resources and labor relations issues, he also negotiates collective bargaining agreements, arbitrates cases and handles employment-related lawsuits and unfair labor practice cases around the country. Mr. Sinclair also assists clients with preventative training in a wide variety of employment topics, such as sexual harassment, union-free maintenance, basic employment law for managers, and how to properly document and discipline, to name a few. In this ever-changing economy, Mr. Sinclair has also worked extensively with clients on acquisitions, sales, and reductions in force.
