Mr. Williams currently serves as the President of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, and has been an officer of the organization for the past fifteen years.

Mr. Williams has served as Chair of the Subcommittee on Attorney-Client and Constitutional Privileges, American Bar Association, Section of Taxation, Committee on Civil and Criminal Tax Penalties, for the past twelve years.

Mr. Williams has served as a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association Attorney Grievance Committee, for the past fifteen years.

Mr. Williams has served as a member of the United States District Court, Southern District Court of Indiana, Local Rules Committee, for the past fourteen years.

Mr. Williams serves as a member of the Advisory Committee on Circuit Rules, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
