Professional Experience:
Kevin Alerding is a partner in Ice Miller's Personal Services, Trusts and Estates Group. His practice focuses on estate planning, business succession planning, estate and trust administration, and litigation involving estates and trusts. He also is a member of the firm's Agribusiness Strategies Group.

Alerding serves as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General's Corps. He is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association. He is certified by the Indiana State Bar Association as an estate planning and probate specialist.

He currently is a member of the planned giving committees for the Indiana University School of Medicine, Marquette Manor Foundation and WFYI. He is a former director of the Fatima Retreat House and Cathedral High School Alumni Association.

Alerding earned his Bachelor of Science in corporate financial management from Ball State University in 1992. He earned his juris doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 1995.

A native of Indianapolis, Alerding joined Ice Miller in November 2001. He is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana.
