Full Biography: Gina M. Giacone

Gina Giacone's primary areas of concentration are estate and personal planning for individuals, and corporate and tax planning for tax-exempt organizations.

In the area of estate and personal planning, Gina advises clients regarding gift, estate and trust taxation, estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving and prenuptial matters. In the charitable giving context, she also advises universities and other tax-exempt organizations regarding advanced planned giving techniques, trust administration and endowment management. With respect to tax-exempt organizations, Gina represents both public charities and private foundations regarding corporate governance matters and tax issues associated with entity creation and operation.

Gina is a frequent speaker on both estate planning strategies and tax-exempt organizations issues. She is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations, and is on the planned giving committee at the Indianapolis Zoo, the Indiana University School of Medicine, the United Way, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Gina is also a 2003 graduate of the United Way Executive Women's Leadership Program.

A native of Benton, Illinois, Ms. Giacone graduated in 1992 from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 1995 from Vanderbilt University. Ms. Giacone is admitted to practice in Indiana and joined Ice Miller in 1995.
