Full Biography: Barton T. Sprunger
Bart Sprunger's primary practice concentration is on federal, state and local taxation law.
Mr. Sprunger is the author of numerous articles on tax issues and a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences on tax matters.
He is a member of the Taxation Sections of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations. He also serves as a member of the Committee on State and Local Taxes, American Bar Association. Additional professional activities include membership in the Taxation Committee of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Taxation Committee of the Indiana Manufacturers' Association.
Born in Berne, Indiana, Mr. Sprunger received his Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics from Purdue University, where he graduated with honors in 1968. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School, where he graduated cum laude in 1975.
Mr. Sprunger joined Ice Miller in 1975, and is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana, and in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, the U.S. Tax Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He was also selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America by the publication of the same name for 2001 and all years thereafter.
