Full Biography: Kevin C. Woodhouse

Mr. Woodhouse’s primary practice concentration is in the area of health care. He represents various health care related clients in addressing federal and state legislative and regulatory issues, compliance, contracts, joint ventures, health planning, and various managed care issues. Mr. Woodhouse’s managed care practice includes representation of managed care organizations on a variety of contracting matters and on regulatory matters before the Indiana Department of Insurance. Mr. Woodhouse has also represented health facilities on a variety of matters including regulatory issues before the Indiana Department of Health. Mr. Woodhouse counsels clients on a variety of compliance issues including fraud and abuse issues under the Federal Stark Acts and the Antikickback Statute. He has also represented public and private employers in various labor and employment issues with a special emphasis on disability discrimination and occupational safety and health matters.

Mr. Woodhouse has lectured and presented seminars on numerous topics relating to health care, managed care, contracting and health care transaction issues.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan but attended secondary school in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Woodhouse received his bachelor of arts from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana in 1985, graduating with highest distinction. While at Indiana University, he was selected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Woodhouse received his juris doctorate from the University of Michigan in 1989.

Mr. Woodhouse is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association. He is a former Chair of the Health Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association. He joined Ice Miller in 1989 and is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana. Mr. Woodhouse has also been named as a Super Lawyer in Indianapolis in the area of Health Care.
