Full Biography: Michael T. McNally

As an associate in Ice Miller's Litigation Group, Michael McNally has been involved in several jury trials in both state and federal court covering a variety of claims, including claims based on Fourth Amendment violations, product liability, and wrongful death. Mr. McNally has also presented seminars to fellow attorneys on the use of evidence and technology in opening statements and closing arguments.

In an effort to provide value-added client service, Mr. McNally obtained his master's degree in business administration after beginning his career as an attorney. Based on his legal and business background, Mr. McNally assists clients in developing risk management and litigation avoidance strategies. This includes identifying potential risk areas and ways to minimize these risks, conducting incident investigations, and counseling clients on the impact of corporate policies and practices. Mr. McNally has also used these skills and experiences to assist clients in bringing new products to market.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Mr. McNally worked for the Worker's Compensation Board of Indiana. While at the Worker's Compensation Board, Mr. McNally worked as the Board's liaison with the Indiana General Assembly. In this role, Mr. McNally drafted legislation, analyzed proposed legislative changes, and testified at committee hearings. Mr. McNally also spoke to various organizations regarding Indiana's Worker's Compensation laws. In addition, he administered Indiana's self-insurance program and Indiana's Second Injury Fund.

While in law school, Mr. McNally served as an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review. He also interned at the Indiana Court of Appeals. Mr. McNally graduated with honors.

He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Mr. McNally joined Ice Miller in August 2002.
