Indianapolis, April 18, 2008- Adam Arceneaux, of Ice Miller LLP, has been selected to speak at the Spring Conference and Induction of Fellows for the Litigation Counsel of America on May 1-2, 2008, in Miami, Florida.
Arceneaux’s practice includes drafting, defending, and defeating covenants not to compete, non-solicitation clauses, confidentiality agreements, and trade secret claims. He has obtained, and defended against, temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and other forms of emergency relief in state and federal courts. Arceneaux will address the procedure and strategy behind obtaining, or conversely, defending against injunctive relief. In addition to reviewing the procedural requirements, he will discuss the preparation and strategy considerations that are involved in successfully litigating injunction actions.
Arceneaux’s presentation will be made to Fellows of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), a trial lawyer honorary society, which represents less than one half of one percent of American lawyers. As a Fellow of the LCA, Arceneaux will be honored at the LCA Induction Ceremony and Banquet at The Palms Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.
Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are carefully selected based upon evaluations of effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, and superior ethical reputation.
