Ice Miller Ranks in National Survey of Private Equity Law Firms: Only Indiana Firm Recognized

Indianapolis, May 15, 2009 – Ice Miller LLP has been recognized as the 34th most active law firm in the nation based on the number of private equity and venture capital funds worked on for general partners and limited partners that had a final close in 2008. The ranking appears in the May 2009 issue of the Private Equity Analyst, a publication of Dow Jones. Closing a total of 43 deals in 2008, Ice Miller was the only Indiana firm on the ranking and was ranked 12th in the Midwest.

Ice Miller was also recognized as the 49th most active law firm in the country by number of funds based on the number of private equity or venture capital deals negotiated and closed in 2008. Closing a total of 47 deals in 2009, Ice Miller was again the only firm in Indiana to secure a spot and was ranked 18th in the Midwest.
