Ice Miller LLP Attorney Recognized by the Indianapolis Bar Association - Mike McNally Received Pro-Bono Award for Aiding Individuals

Indianapolis – Ice Miller LLP announced today that Mike McNally received the Indianapolis Bar Association's (IBA) pro bono award for aiding individuals. The award recognizes attorneys who dedicate a significant amount of time and effort to serving central Indiana residents in need of legal services. McNally was honored during an event on Nov. 19, 2009, at the Conrad Hotel.

"Given the commitment of our firm to pro bono activities, it is difficult to single out one attorney for recognition," stated Byron Myers, chief managing partner, Ice Miller LLP. "Like many in the Firm, Mike takes his commitment to the community seriously and we are proud that his efforts have been acknowledged by the Indianapolis Bar Association."

Over the last year, Mike has handled pro bono cases involving prisoners rights and claims and child custody issues, as well as cases involving domestic abuse. In addition, Mike has been involved in the Protective Order Pro Bono Project and the Ask A Lawyer Program and frequently works with non-profits on discrete legal matters. Most recently, Mike has been named the chair of Ice Miller's pro bono committee. In this role, he works to expand the pro bono opportunities of all Ice Miller attorneys.
