Ice Miller Earns Two Regional Marketing Awards

The Awards Program Recognized Ice Miller for Their Partnership with WFYI and Inc. 500/5000 Reception
Indianapolis, March 3, 2010 – Ice Miller earned two regional marketing awards in the categories of integrated marketing campaign and events at the 2010 Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Chicago Your Honor Awards program on February 25, 2010. The awards program, sponsored by the Wall Street Journal, recognized Ice Miller in the integrated marketing campaign category, for their media partnership with WFYI, and in the events category, for their Inc. 500/5000 reception.
"Being recognized for your work by your peers is always the greatest compliment you can receive," stated Dona Stohler, chief marketing officer at Ice Miller.
In 2007 Ice Miller approached WFYI with a proposal to partner more closely with them to reach the business audience in Indiana. WFYI attracts a business audience during drive time NPR programming as well as their weekly TV show Indiana Week in Review, which covers political and business news statewide.
The program components include:
• Text message alerts for the Indiana Week in Review TV broadcast;
• Text messages for an on-air poll;
• Primary sponsor of the WFYI Wine Fest;
• Wine Dinner in conjunction with the Wine Fest; and
• NPR spots to highlight Ice Miller news alerts, newsletter lead articles, breaking legal news, etc.
The objective of the partnership was to reach the business community in Indiana with Ice Miller messaging as well as create brand awareness for the firm. The Wine Fest is now called the Ice Miller Indy Wine Fest and the text messages and polling are called the Ice Miller Text Alert and the Ice Miller Poll Question.
Each year Inc. Magazine releases their list of Inc. 500/5000 companies that are privately held companies experiencing significant growth. Ice Miller, Crowe Horwath and Grow Indiana partnered to host a reception to recognize the 2009 list makers in the state of Indiana. The event provided a forum for attendees to network with the Indiana Inc. 500/5000 CEOs while engaging with the business community and acknowledging their success stories.
The LMA Your Honor Awards recognize law firms that illustrate excellence in marketing and communications programs. LMA Chicago encompasses law firms in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
