Christopher Bordoni is a partner in the Firm’s Business Group and is based in New York. Chris primarily focuses his practice on advising private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, real estate investment funds, and mezzanine and other debt providers on a wide range of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations, liquidity lines, equipment leases, and mezzanine and other debt financings.



Chris’s extensive experience also includes routinely counseling clients on complex intercreditor arrangements, forbearance arrangements and out-of-court restructurings.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Chris practiced in the Commercial & Public Finance, Corporate Transactions & Securities and Real Estate practices at Thompson Hine and at Goodwin Procter in New York.

•Represented White Wolf Capital LLC, a  private equity firm focused on management buyouts, recapitalizations and investments in leading middle market companies, in connection with its acquisition financing of an information technology, consulting and recruiting company.

•Represented an international capital provider in connection with its $295 million mezzanine acquisition financing of a thrift store chain.

•Represented an international capital provider in connection with its $195 million mezzanine acquisition financing of a polyethylene storage tank manufacturer.

•Represented an alternative investment manager in connection with a $25 million equipment lease.

•Represented business development companies in connection with debt and equity investments across various industries ranging from $10 million to $50 million.

•Represented various mezzanine funds in connection with mezzanine financings ranging from $10 million to $50 million.

•Represented numerous real estate investment funds in connection with their subscription secured credit facilities ranging from $50 million to $1.1 billion.

•Represented a private equity sponsor in connection with a $240 million dividend recapitalization of a manufacturer of tamper-evident cap and closure lining materials.

•Represented a private equity sponsor in connection with a $25 million acquisition financing of a producer of bean and hominy products.

•Represented a pharmaceutical company in connection with a $20 million secured financing and royalty securitization.

•Represented a leading manufacturer of natural food products in connection with a $35 million secured financing and $25 million dividend recapitalization.

•Represented a leading manufacturer of specialty vehicles in the negotiation and refinancing of a senior secured credit facility.
