Elizabeth McKillip is a partner in the Trusts and Estates group where she advises clients on estate planning and estate tax issues. She works with trustees, trust beneficiaries, and heirs regarding probate court matters, trust administration and assets distribution. In addition, she assists in the appointment of guardians for disabled adults and minors.
Elizabeth also has experience representing clients in a wide range of business and commercial matters, including cases involving consumer fraud, breach of contract, negligence, fraud and other contract disputes.
Elizabeth regularly represents individual or bank fiduciaries as Trustees in trust or estate related litigation.
As part of her practice she has pursued appeals before the Illinois Appellate Court.
She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy in 2001, with honors. Elizabeth received her juris doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. She was a member of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal, and editor of the Illinois Judicial Conference Symposium.
