Gary Dankert's practice concentration is in construction law, including drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts, assisting on project delivery issues (including P3 Projects) and handling construction disputes.

He has worked on a wide variety of large public and private projects, including Lucas Oil Stadium, the Indianapolis Mid-field Terminal, the Indiana Convention Center Expansion, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the Ohio River Bridges Project, and the I-69, Section 5. He has served as general outside counsel to the Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority since its inception. Selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America, Dankert has spoken locally, statewide and nationally on employee benefit disputes and construction law.

An Indianapolis native, Gary received his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in 1974 and his juris doctorate from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 1977. Gary joined Ice Miller in 1981. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
