George Weems serves as of counsel in Ice Miller’s Real Estate group. He concentrates his practice in commercial real estate, real estate related litigation and general corporate matters.
George has significant experience handling commercial real estate transactions, leasing and real estate development. Many of his clients have benefited from his ability to add value through obtaining development and relocation based incentives, municipal entitlements, state-based incentives and real estate tax incentives.
George also has experience representing clients’ interests in general business matters, commercial brokerage, property management, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, legal training, and commercial litigation.
George received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1991 from DePauw University. After graduation, he worked for a real estate tax investment firm before attending law school. George received his law degree in 1995 and his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Law (with honors) in 2004 from The John Marshall Law School. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
George and his family reside in Geneva, Illinois.
