Greg Pottorff is an associate in Ice Miller’s Litigation Group, where he concentrates on the defense of complex, multidistrict litigation for pharmaceutical manufacturers in federal and state courts. Greg has also represented companies and individuals in several types of litigation involving product liability, personal injury, and other general business litigation. In addition, Greg has extensive experience representing health care providers and mental health facilities in civil commitment hearings and proceedings regarding the release of mental health and other health care records.
Originally from Munster, Ind., Greg graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history and was a member of the men’s soccer team. Greg received his juris doctorate from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he served on the Sherman Minton Moot Court Board and the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.
Before joining the Firm, Greg was a judicial extern for the Honorable Joseph S. Van Bokkelen at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He was also a legal extern for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in 2010 and a legislative intern for the Indiana Senate in 2008.
