Jasmin French is an associate in Ice Miller’s Employee Benefits group. Jasmin's practice focuses on executive compensation, equity-based compensation and qualified retirement plan design for midsize and large corporate clients. Prior to her practice in the employee benefits area, Jasmin concentrated on corporate law and she pimarily focused on private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She represented private and public companies in a variety of industries in connection with domestic mergers, international tax restructurings, stock and asset acquisitions, reorganizations and private equity offerings ranging in value from $5 million to $125 million.
Jasmin assists clients with all aspects of qualified retirement plan design and administration, including drafting plan documents and amendments, as well as plan corrections and fiduciary compliance. Her practice includes advising clients regarding benefits-related issues in mergers and acquisitions.
Jasmin's transactional experience also includes advising clients as an in-house attorney on various legal issues in general commercial contracting as well as corporate governance matters.
Jasmin graduated from Duke University in 2001 with a major in Public Policy Studies and French Studies. Jasmin received her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2007.
Jasmin joined Ice Miller in 2011. She is licensed to practice law in Indiana and Illinois.
