Jason McNiel is a partner in the Firm's Business Litigation Group where he concentrates his practice on real estate and complex business litigation. He represents clients ranging from large corporations to small businesses in both state and federal court.
Jason represents clients in a wide array of real estate, construction, and business-related disputes, including commercial foreclosures, receiverships, eminent domain proceedings, landlord/tenant actions, title disputes, and mechanic's lien enforcement/defense actions.
Jason is a regular speaker on real estate litigation topics and also co-authored the Indiana section of the American Bar Association's "The Law of Eminent Domain" (2012).
Jason received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Miami University, Ohio in 1998. In 2005, he earned his juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. While in law school, he was a note development editor for the Indiana Law Review.
Prior to law school, Jason worked for a leading accounting firm in Columbus, Ohio and served as a small business development volunteer for the United States Peace Corps in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Jason joined Ice Miller in August 2005.
