Katie Marschke is an associate in Ice Miller’s Litigation and Intellectual Property Group. She assists large and small companies in their business disputes, enforcing non-competes, protecting trade secrets, and defending claims brought against them. She also defends Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”) plans in benefits litigation, and assists with other benefits matters. Katie further litigates insurance coverage disputes on behalf of policyholders, and defends asbestos claims.
She received her Bachelor of Science in hospitality and tourism management at Purdue University in 2009, graduating with high distinction. Her focus was restaurant management.
Katie attended law school at Pennsylvania State University, the Dickinson School of Law in State College, Pa. She graduated magna cum laude and received her juris doctorate in 2013. Katie was an editor for the Penn State Law Review and on the executive board for Phi Alpha Delta, the national professional law fraternity.
Katie has been an associate at Ice Miller since 2013, and clerked for Ice Miller beforehand.
