These include regulatory and compliance advice, physician contract and recruitment issues, Medicare/Medicaid payment issues, provider defense in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings, governing board counseling, medical staff hearings and credentialing matters, internal investigations and governmental audits and third party payer disputes.

  • Successfully defended a multi-specialty physician group in an antitrust lawsuit filed by the State of Ohio.
  • Obtained dismissal by summary judgment of claims filed by physician alleging breach of a billing agreement.

  • Successfully represented physician in medical staff hearing regarding potential loss of clinical privileges.
  • Successfully defended the State of Ohio and the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation in a labor union's challenge to the constitutionality of the Ohio Health Partnership Program.
