Kristine Camron is a corporate lawyer with Ice Miller and is based in the Firm's Indianapolis office. She has a broad range of transactional and counseling experience, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations and the related financing required to implement such transactions.
Most of her clients are entrepreneurs, but she also represents several private equity firms and angel funds and has been involved in formation and structuring of start-up and early-stage companies in the Midwest in such industries as technology, beverage, consumer product and medical device.
Specifically, she counsels entrepreneurs on the legal and business issues related to the commercialization process such as entity formation, private placement offerings, licensing, adoption of equity incentive plans, commercial contracts, acquisitions/joint ventures and other legal and business matters. In addition, she regularly assists clients in connection with debt and equity financing. She has represented financial investors and management teams in connection with private equity transactions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and similar complex transactions. She has also represented issuers in private placement transactions ranging from "friends and family" equity rounds and senior debt financings to large equity raises with multiple venture capital funds, to multi-tiered equity and debt financings involving equity, senior debt and mezzanine tranches.
Kristine currently serves on the Board of Directors of TechPoint, Indiana's Initiative for the State's technology-based economy and growing entrepreneurship community as well as on the Board of Directors of the Governor Robert Orr Fellowship Program, a not-for-profit focused on developing Indiana's next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Krisitine previously served on the board of directors for the Indiana chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Kristine is admitted to the bar in the State of Indiana and is a member of the Indiana Bar Association.
