Lauren Ford is an associate in the Firm’s Business group and focuses her practice in the areas of  alternative investments, finance, and general corporate matters. 
Lauren represents a wide variety of institutional investors such as governmental entities and other limited partners in all aspects of their alternative investments programs. She represents clients in connection with a diverse range of strategies, including venture capital, buyout, real estate, infrastructure, hedge and subordinated debt funds and fund of funds. In addition to her alternative investments practice, Lauren represents banks and other financial institutions in senior and mezzanine debt facilities. She represents clients in commercial lending and finance transactions, including syndicated loans, asset based loans and second lien loans, in a variety of industries. Lauren also has experience coordinating and supporting due diligence, document management and M&A projects for various  companies 
Lauren received her juris doctorate in 2013 from William and Mary Law School. While attending law school, Lauren served as Senior Articles Editor of the William and Mary Business Law Review. 
Prior to joining the Firm, Lauren served as law clerk to the Honorable Kevin R. Huennekens in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, before working with an international law firm where she focused her practice on corporate restructuring and real estate matters.
