Lori Anger is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing and business development efforts at Ice Miller. She manages a dedicated team of professionals to create and execute practice group, industry group and client service team initiatives, as well as to advance the firm's brand identity and media and communications strategy. Anger is also responsible for developing regional, market-specific business plans, visibility and community-based events and sponsorships for the firm's offices in Ohio.
Anger has served the legal marketing industry for nearly fifteen years, and has worked with law firms ranging in size from a 100-lawyer regional firm to an international firm with over 850 lawyers. Throughout her career, Anger has served in many roles from account executive, to marketing coordinator to client relations manager. She has:
  • managed practice and industry groups' marketing and business development efforts;
  • prepared requests for proposals, custom pitches and presentations;
  • provided intensive research and competitive intelligence to targeting efforts;
  • led public relations and advertising campaigns and conducted media training;
  • utilized and introduced contact relationship management (CRM) systems;
  • planned and executed hundreds of events, seminars, and conferences;
  • conducted business development training and coaching;
  • planned and administered numerous marketing operations budgets; and
  • implemented and supported client service teams and community service initiatives.
Anger began her career at a public relations firm in Washington, D.C. where she executed earned media relations campaigns for attorneys and law firms throughout the country.  Anger is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and was a founding board member of Legal PR Chicago.
She returned to her home state of Ohio after spending more than 14 years living in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, IL.
