Michael Hopkins is a registered patent attorney and associate in Ice Miller’s Intellectual Property group. He advises and represents clients in all areas of intellectual property, including patent prosecution and litigation, trademarks and copyright.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he majored in Physics.
In 2016, Michael graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, Michael served as an Executive Articles Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law. Michael also worked in the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic, where he provided pro bono patent prosecution services.
Michael joined Ice Miller in September 2016, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
