Michael Farrell is an associate in the Firm’s Business Group and focuses his practice on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He represents clients across a variety of industries, including banking, financial services, technology, security, manufacturing and professional services.
Mike graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with additional focus in finance and math in 2008 and a Masters in Finance in 2009, and received his juris doctorate in 2012 from the Washington University School of Law. While attending law school, he interned at an M&A-focused investment bank in St. Louis and served as an associate and staff editor of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review for which his research note was selected for publication in 2013.
Mike has assisted clients with various types of business transactions, including commercial bank loans, stock and asset acquisitions, mergers, corporate divestitures, commercial leasing, corporate reorganizations, international distribution agreements and commercial contract negotiations. He also has experience coordinating and supporting due diligence, document management and M&A projects for several large, Ohio-based publicly traded companies.
