Pattie Zelmer's primary practice involves working with municipal units of government as bond counsel for their financings, including general obligation, utility revenue and special taxing district issues.
Pattie assists cities, towns, counties, regional districts, conservancy districts and libraries in planning and implementing financings for a wide range of municipal projects, including economic development. She also advises clients on matters concerning utility rates and charges, utility regulation and securities law and federal tax law compliance. Pattie frequently writes and speaks about financing options for municipal units of government.
A native of South Bend, Ind., Pattie received her Bachelor of Science, with distinction, from Indiana University Bloomington in 1982. She is a member of Phi Eta Sigma. She attended the Washington College of Law, The American University, Washington, D.C., and holds a juris doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School where she graduated, cum laude, in 1986.
She joined Ice Miller in 1986.
Pattie is licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana.
