Tim Ochs' primary practice concentration is in real estate law, including real estate development, land use and zoning, annexation, leasing, and real estate finance. He also serves on the Firm's Agriculture Law Initiative and is a member of the Firm's Green Initiative.
He has substantial experience in renewable energy projects, including numerous wind farms, a solar farm and other alternative energy projects. He also has substantial experience representing municipalities in annexation matters.
He has been a faculty member on a number real estate seminars presented by the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, the National Business Institute and the Professional Education Systems Institute, and he has served as the chair of the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum's Annual Real Estate Institute since 2009.
Tim was born and raised in Indianapolis, Ind. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at Purdue University in 1989. He earned his juris doctorate from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, cum laude, in 1992.
Tim joined Ice Miller in 1996 after practicing with a Fort Wayne, Ind. law firm for four years.
He is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
