Final Regulations Issued by Department of Labor on Overtime Exemptions

On April 20, 2004, the U.S. Department of Labor issued its long awaited final regulations revising the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime exemptions.  The regulatory changes, which become effective on August 18, 2004, are more modest than what had been expected based on the proposed regulations issued a year ago.  Learn more.
