Ice Miller Earns Regional Marketing Award

Indianapolis, February 20, 2009 – Ice Miller LLP and Mayer Brown tied for the top honor in the category of public and community relations at the 2009 Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Chicago Your Honor Awards program last night in Chicago. The awards program, sponsored by the Wall Street Journal, recognized Ice Miller for their CEO survey project. Ice Miller was also a finalist in the sales/business development category for the firm's alumni program.

Ice Miller, Inside INdiana Business and Butler University collaborated to develop and implement the second annual Indiana CEO survey project titled, "The State of Our Business: A Perspective from Indiana Executives." The goal is to make this an annual tool that the collaborators can use to:

· Better understand the mindset of the CEO;

· Examine Indiana business leaders’ opinions about Indiana’s economic and business climate; and

· Help expose some of the top issues CEOs expect to face in the coming year.

The project consisted of several components including an annual survey, a report summarizing the results of the survey, a Web site (www.inceosurvey.com), related advertising, public relations and marketing material, blogs, an exclusive CEO reception unveiling the results, and an Indiana leadership breakfast panel discussion open to Indiana's senior executives.

The objective of the LMA Your Honor Awards is to recognize law firms that illustrate excellence in marketing and communications programs. LMA Chicago encompasses law firms in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
