Why is
this session important?:
Regulators of charter schools and other
tax-exempt organizations have stepped up compliance and
enforcement activities in recent years. As a
result, it is as important as ever to be aware of
the ever-changing rules that apply to the charter school
industry.
In this session, we will
address:
- Board member
duties and liability and open door laws
- IRS enforcement
activities and 501(c)(3) compliance
- Reporting on the
new Form 990 (including a discussion of the
policies newly requested by the IRS concerning
conflicts of interest, whistleblowers, document
retention and destruction, executive compensation,
joint ventures, gifts, and expense
reimbursements)
Who should
attend?: Charter school administrators, principals,
board members, and officers are welcome to
attend.

the webinar work?: This webinar can be accessed
directly from your desktop. All registrants will
